Regenerative Hull Stack?
so i've been placing the regen hull options in all my augment slots. is it more cost effective to do it this way or only do one regen hull part and the rest other stuff?

You can see the effect directly if you put two afterburners in and watch the numbers.
As for regen hull, well if you have ever watched a firefight in the slower speeds just for fun you can see that during a firefight the damage will outpace the hull regen so in my opinion stacking these is pointless for the purposes of saving a fleet.

However having at least one will allow you to stay in the area or move and not need to find a spaceport to sit around and fixup the fleet.

That said, I'd rather get a titan and use the nanobot options to heal the entire fleet that way and use the aux port for other things.

well thanks. current econ is terrible and I haven't unlocked the TItan yet. probably gonna need to make a new habiat just for research buildings. -weeps in not using the ring world start properly via labs, weeps further in losing said ring world in the Space Mongol Crysis-

I do wonder how well a full dragonscale armour build will work with double nanite repair systems and engineering Admiral. And with a nanobot cloud titan
Possibly also as a devouring swarm.

do I need a hull regen componet on every section or just one on the ship?

You can't place it on every section, it's auxillery slots only.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I know that I meant does a single regen hull work for the entire ship if I only have one regen hull componet in the aft. or do I need a Bow, Midsection, AND an aft to work?

entire ship
what you suggest would cause way more lag
yeah for some reason I thought there was more aug slots than there actually is. *headdesk*

The sections where you put armor, shields and aux stuff are not specific to that section.
Its just visual.
Think of everything at the bottom of the build screen as a total.
