You can see the effect directly if you put two afterburners in and watch the numbers.
As for regen hull, well if you have ever watched a firefight in the slower speeds just for fun you can see that during a firefight the damage will outpace the hull regen so in my opinion stacking these is pointless for the purposes of saving a fleet.
However having at least one will allow you to stay in the area or move and not need to find a spaceport to sit around and fixup the fleet.
That said, I'd rather get a titan and use the nanobot options to heal the entire fleet that way and use the aux port for other things.
Possibly also as a devouring swarm.
You can't place it on every section, it's auxillery slots only.
what you suggest would cause way more lag
Its just visual.
Think of everything at the bottom of the build screen as a total.
