Nicoll Dyson Beam ... If you play it
Any Gigastructure players use or see this thing in use before?
I just watched a video on it.
I'm looking to see if there is any protection from it, or any way to destroy it.
I can totally see a fanatical purifier empire build this and just go to town long distance on everyone wiping entire systems and never leaving their safe space.
Forgive the forum post, I put this on the mod comments as well but it will get totally lost there.

I've built two of these before. They take insanely long to build, even compared to vanilla megastructures. You can easily scout empire's galaxies to see if they have one, and wage war before they finish it to take the system.
