Found a 10 slot Gaia world, it turns out to be a world that switches between a shrouded world and a Gaia world. If anyone has encountered this before, is there an event chain for colonizing it, and if so, do I lose my colony? If so, I hope I get some good rewards for doing so.

I believe there's both an anomaly and a special project (chain?) for this world. AFAIK you HAVE to do the anomaly first, because otherwise it's bugged.

Google "stellaris veil gaia world" to get more (just "veil" will return a bunch of Shroud stuff, since Google thinks they're related words).

Also I think you do lose any colony when the world switches. I also seem to recall that it's a different world every time it changes, so if you're going to stabilise it maybe wait till it's got a good combination of resources.

yeah I built an outpost and it gave a project. I stabalized it and it became a Gaia wolrd to colonize. Wished it was shrouded cause the 10 physics research seems better than a 10 tile Gaia world...

The anomaly mentions there being multiple dimensions of Gaia worlds. And as it stands from the video I watched, you could have waited for the Gaia world to reset into the shroud and turn into a different-possibly more spaced out Gaia world.

My veil world had over 20 tiles so the size varies. I did the projects first before trying to colonise the planet.

unfortunately my veil was bugged as it was also the location for a cybrex site, which overwrote the anomaly to fix the planet...I claimed the system with ease...but now I can;t do jack with it

10 tiles is barely worth it...
I don't settle anything under 10 tiles.

And I'm not happy settling anything smaller then 15.

Looks like the Cybrex were responsible for causing it to go into the state it is now, eh? XD

actually most likely...given a cybrex search anomaly took up the slot
