No Crisis.... again
Second run through in succession where the end game crisis just didn't happen. I play on Admiral with x3 crisis 50 years early so my whole game is focused on dealing with the end game crisis. It's a lot of hours to put into a game where the the whole focus of your game play just doesnt happen. This needs fixed!

I've had this happen many times, but my game is so heavily modded I never know if it's the mods or the game so I manually trigger a crisis.

How do you manually trigger it?

How long did you play for?

The crisis doesn't happen at a fixed date, it's just first possible 50 years after it becomes end game. So if you set it to be 50 years early that just means the earliest it could happen is 2400. From then it's still just a random chance to trigger ever 5 years, there's no guaranteed start year.

The game ended. I won. No crisis

Doesn't change anything. The crisis is still a random chance, it's just a matter of when.

Make the end date later (or turn it off altogether) if the main point of your game is to fight the crisis. It would also suck if the game ended mid-crisis, right? So yeah, just turn off the end date and problem solved.

The endgame crisis has an MTTH of 50 years - every 5 years after the start date, it re-rolls and checks to see if it will spawn. The chances increase as the number of years approaches the 50-year mark.

If you want to see it happen earlier, just set your endgame start date earlier. It's really not difficult at all.

It can take over 100 years sometimes for the end game to spawn... It's on a roll every 10 years if I'm correct, but you'll only know if you rolled the end game event 200 days after the 10 year marker, long story short it's about 20% chance per 10 years after the start date of end game

I don't think I've ever played with the end date on, I win when the galaxy is all mine or a smouldering dust cloud left behind by me xD

Can manual activate the crisis you want in the console commands

The crisis trigger roll is every 5 years per 00_on_actions.txt and said roll actually has a number of modifiers per the crisis trigger files.

Said modifiers vary as the Contingency cannot actually spawn if there are no mechanical pops in the Galaxy.

The Unbidden cannot spawn if nobody has a Psi or normal Jump Drive and some resolution or other isn't passed

The Prethoryn can always spawn in a game unless a glitch happens.

Post 100 years, if a Non-FE has a Psi-Jump Drive and if a non-FE has greater than 50% mechanical pops while having the Synthetics tech, assuming that I'm reading the file right, every 5 years there is literally only one number that it can roll that won't trigger a crisis so if somebody has that bad luck that they can go close to 100 years and thus 20 checks without triggering one I'd suggest strongly that they stay away from anything remotely luck based forever.

For the record, I do think that from other people's statements that the Contingency is supposed to have the highest odds at 75%, however, the file shows a clear problem, for you see, factor = 2 and factor = 4 have the exact same text in them.

right! The end game crisis start date was set to start 2400. the end game date was 2450. It reached 2450 without the crisis happening. I have over 3k hours in this game. I'm not a noob
