Revolt took my starhold????
So I accidentally let one of my planets revolt. It was on the edge of my territory and was HEAVILY fortified.
So since the planet in that system had a bunch of rebels retake the planet, suddenly my insanely strong starhold is theirs?
How did a bunch of rebels on the PLANET. Instantly take my starhold. ???
This starhold is literally stronger than my fleet, with tons of strike craft. I tried to see if I could maybe take it back and it just wiped my entire fleet.

What is that game logic? A bunch of slaves on a planet somehow overthrow the government. But I have a starhold above the planet, they dont own a single ship. Should be good right? They cant possibly take a starhold with 0 ships.
Nope they just instantly claim my starhold.

the current system auto transfer planet ownership based on starbase owner, which means they would be destoryed instantly unless they get total control of the system
good reason to not lose stability

A considerable portion of the staff on that station aligned themselves with your revolting population and handed control of the station over to them.

I was kinda preoccupied in a war :/. Lots of micro-managing to deal with. And I honestly dont really know how to stop it. Since it was only my like 2nd campaign I just reloaded my save. I built the building with the enforcer jobs, but I dont think theres enough pop there to fill those enforcer jobs.

Idk if i can like land a ground force on the planet to prevent them from taking it that way? or would they just instantly claim that too. Guess ill find out.
edit: They instantly claimed the army sent to prevent the rebellion -_-

Go to the planet screen and look for the decisions. If crime or whatever is high enough, there should also be a decision available that reduces instability permanently. Alternatively destroy/downgrade the station before they take the planet.

That didnt save it either. I built an enforcer building, did the crime stability decision and another decision to add soldier jobs with stability. Still revolts. Can I just like execute the slave population? Or will that make them instantly claim the starhold too.

I see. Simply downgrade the starhold to it's basic version and recapture the planet that way , it's better than nothing ^^

Unfortunately I might have to. There is no way to recapture it without atleast doubling my fleet (still might not work). And theres apparently no way to stop the rebellion that I know of.

how bad is the colony?
If a colony's Stability decreases below 10, a rebellion can take place.
Normal empires primarily increase Stability by having a high Approval Rating or using the Declare Martial Law decision and having enough Soldier jobs.

It only had 2 buildings, but I fixed the issue. I just stripped the star hold down and degraded it and took it back. Then I had to build an army of over 1K to land on the planet and actually take the system back. But I got it. It was annoying.

Im still not exactly sure why it happened, I only had the problem with one planet. It had the slave uprising modifier and some other unrest event but I dont know how or why it got to that point since no other planets did.

maybe the planet posses a planet mod which lowers the happiness?

well the crime reached 100%, I did everything I know how to do to stop it but it didnt do much. Im having a crime problem as of right now too, Ive built multiple enforcer buildings and activated martial law and the crime just doesnt go down.
Im really struggling to keep my planets happy. They have got housing, there are enforcer buildings, they have jobs. idk elsething else to do, I also have plenty of consumer goods.

technically you dont have to deal with crime,it just happens that crime is a result of pops not 100% happy, which means they need to be unhappy enough in the first place
consumber goods surplus doesnt help except spending the the planet decision, which wouldnt help much if you dont have much amenities source to being with
In other words, the happiness bonus scales from +0% with 0 extra amenities, to +20% with twice as many amenities as necessary.
All pops get −2% happiness for each amenity the planet is lacking.
some screenshot would help

There I uploaded a screenshot of my current problem planet. Every few turns I get a notification saying uprising gang shootings etc etc etc. This one is a bit different from the last one but I still dont know how to fix it
