You theory about "pseudo-updated" mods doesn't work, sorry.
ah yea i am, consider the Stellaris was working perfect fine before this patch
so it's kind of odd that it no longer works.
Go library> right click the game> properties> local files> browse local files and then just double click on stellaris.exe
It should bypass launcher entirely this way.
Corrected mine by unsubscribing from all mods in workshop and verifying my game files. Works perfect now (currently running vanilla w/ all DLC)
