Should I necro the entire pop of a planet?
The domination bonus from slave output is nice.

Is it worth it to destroy the race change temple and keep some of the pop as domestic servants?

What have you guys been doing?

It is definitely worth it to have a non-main species doing your worker tier jobs. Especially considering they get a penalty to worker tier job output.

You mean a bonus, right?

And why is it worth it, if you don't mind me asking?

If I made a planet of main pops, they'd probably get along just fine, no?

Uh necrophage clearly has a penalty listed for worker output.

I only keep one species as "sacrificers and slaves", my starting one. I purge(necro) all others, it's working nicely.

Once the planet is filled up it makes sense to stop converting the pop to necrophages since you want the slave races to do all the worker jobs. The only reason i could see to keep converting them is if you have an arcology or ringworld with a bunch of specialist jobs to fill.

I've been keeping them all, but converting them to a standard genetic template. Only thing that sucks is that they can''t become necrophytes if you nerve staple them, so you can't get that extra 5% production bonus.

Keep Prepatent species you made in empire builder as Indentured Servitude, or Resident if you feel you need it but Indentured is more productive with Slaver Guilds / Extended Shifts / Iron Fist to fill worker jobs, and can be more productive as Specialists with any of those two bonuses active.
The primitive savages with random, usually crap traits that get spawned around you? Nuh, purge them into Necrophage, far more useful, just resettle a Prepatent over there to keep pops growing.

Having 48+ pops at 2210 is amazing lol. I keep the Chamber of Elevation for Amenities, it works well enough, and the trickle of Necrophage pops is decently useful.

I mean the work bonus from one of the Domination unity trees for slaves

How do you purge to instantly necro? I'd like to try that!

Purifiers only from what I can tell. The rest you just set them to no breeding rights and let the chambers of elevation do the work.

You set them to purge, and purge type to necrophage. You have to be some level of xenophobe, the smallest is enough.
