Is there a mod for this? (Small rant inside, sorry.)
Is there a mod for making war goals easier to get?
I'm honestly so damn tired of making a claim on 1-2 no name systems that have nothing going for them and I have to spend the next 2 hours in a massive battle "King of the hilling'" every single one of their outpost and still having them giving me -47 as a chance they'll just let me have 1-2 garbage systems, even while, kicking their ass mercilessly.
"You own every single one of my outpost besides 3 planets, let's call it even!" - Stupid ♥♥♥♥.

Even after getting every outpost, I still have to make said 3 planets 100% unlivable with orbital bombardment, and they still won't surrender. Why the hell do I even need verbal access to having the system? Why can't I just take it with me when we settle? If i'm dominating you, you don't have say about me keeping the system i'm currently owning.

Take a total war civic, or use armies instead of bombing. And you don't need a full victory to take claims, just a status quo will do.

If you have the necessary DLC's: A alternative is using a empire type that starts with a total war casus belli (in total war you don't bother with claims, if you take something its yours).

Empires that start with this casus belli type: Fanatical purifiers, Devouring Swarms, Terravores, Determined exterminators & Driven Assimilator.

Note that total war empires tend to not be able to do much diplomacy as they have heavy restrictions to such actions. If its fanatical purifiers it has to be with the same species (so making multiple empires with the same species (portrait and name) will allow them some diplomacy). If its determined exterminators or driven assimilators they can do diplomacy with machine empires. Etc.

If that is not desirable or possible you can also get a total war casus belli, late game, if you build a Colossus (still DLC's necessary).

Total War casus belli is what you'd want, easiest way to do that is Collosus and Neutron Sweep or Planet Cracker. Can't sit there with 2 colonies refusing to surrender if they have zero colonies.
Or, demand vassalization, get Subjugation CB, capture everything, and when they're Vassalized you can Intergrate them or just use it as territory you have access to, that you don't have to bother managing. If you bombard worlds to 100%, just land armies and they'll grovel fast.

I think you misunderstood the war system, because having to bomb them out of existence for "1-2 no name systems" is complete nonsense. Such a scenario does not occur.

A war for 1-2 systems is one where you quickly take those two systems, then maybe win a fight or take a few more extra systems, and then the AI will generally be willing to accept a status quo, which means both systems will change ownership to you (if you have claims on them and control over them).
I didn't realize a status quo gave me what I was seeking. Thanks. *Faceplams through my skull.* I thought surrender would be the option for "We'll surrender those systems" since I chose claiming those systems as my war goal. The tutorial never explained that.

Thanks!

Achieve war goals = You achieve your war goal, if its a conquer war it gives you everything you have claims on.
Status Quo = The war ends and if you hold a system you have claims on you get it, the same is true for the enemy side.
Surrender = You surrender and lose the war, depending on the enemies war goal numerous things can happen but it can be preferable if its a war with low stakes and you just want to spare your fleet/resources for something else.
