"ROBOTS BE TAKEN ME JOBS!"
Im having serious issues with robot pops taking over specialist jobs when i have my species built on doing specialist jobs while the robots are supposed to do the worker jobs, so now im dealing with lots of unhappiness with my workers when they wouldn't be unhappy if robots would just move back down to workers but i cant do that manually...

Imagine if they implement a way you could like set tag for a species so they only work such jobs 😔

Which jobs? Ai outlawed policy prevents Researcher, Bureaucrat and Culture Worker jobs.

any job they can take besides ruler jobs and science jobs, my main complaint after getting droid research is that i cant move my robots from the specialist jobs or prevent them from taking them

don't take the droid research then if you dont want robots stealing your jobs

droid research is specifically for allowing robots to become specialists.

otherwise your only option is to get synthetics and then outlaw ai, but that only prevents them from getting certain specialist jobs (previously mentioned in thread)

I keep seeing this, but that has literally never happened to me. I always give them equal rights (because true AI is a life form, and therefore should have all the rights of one) and it ends well for everyone.

Everyone besides the people losing their jobs to robots and ending up on the streets starving (depending on the living standards off course).

Nobody's losing jobs to robots because I just keep expanding and creating more jobs. When I reach the absolute limit, I change their living standards.

What... how? The new patch literally makes it impossible to fill all your jobs once your pops reach into the thousand and you have several tens of planets.

Pretty much. I tweaked it over several galaxies until I found numbers I was comfortable with.

i know that why i got it, but i dont want them to take specialist jobs until they have filled all of the worker jobs first, i dont want my main species to have to take any worker jobs at all either, so i wanted to move robots to workers at least until they filled all of them up then i would want them to take all specialist jobs besides researcher near the end game.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
