cant update to current version of the game, help

hello, i've tried uninstalling and re installing the game but cant seem to updated to 22a5 version of the game. i have the game on steam and cant play with my other friend on steam who has 22a5. i have version e6b1 but cant get steam or the launcher to update.

What version, not checksum, does it say you have.

Does Stellaris have a version number in its name when you look at it in the steam library? If not, it's almost certainly up to date.

Checksum gets edited by mods, so disable any that you may have active.

having same problem stuck at 3.0.4 with no option to go higher. I have uninstalled all mods and game mutiple times now with no results when i install game its at 3.0.4

Region issue, maybe? Anyone know if the update was released in all regions?

Right-click the game in your library, preferences, Betas, Opt out of Beta.

problem solved it was mods. the update must have re-enabled them cause i've had them disabled for months now without issue. i had to create a new playlist in the launcher even though the old one didnt have mods
