L Drake Taming
If the L Drakes went into an allied system but not my own, is there still a way to tame it? Or am i SOL?

You can tame the Drakes that come out of the L gates? Only Drake I have ever tamed is the Elder Drakes offspring. But then I don't normally play the Xenophile types that can tame the wild space fauna

If you are being attacked by an enemy that has a Drake are you sure its not the Elder Drakes offspring and not the L Drakes?

I haven't looked into it personally, I figured my chosen empire, Machine Empire, just couldnt do such things and the L Drakes are yellow to me anyway.

Taming space fauna isn't worth jack in my opinion.

You can't strap darkmatter thrusters to them to make them go fast enough to keep up with your fleets.

Surely each ascention path would have a way?
Cybernetics could have you make the thrusters as a cybernetic implant for them.
Evolutionary mastery could make biological versions.
Psionics could have a psionic handler in a psychic link with the creature and they can work together to operate the better thrusters.

You can tame them, just like Imp said, move a science ship to them. I did get that once and some went to far away area, I got them back by just doing that
