How long does it take for Azizians (Ice Alien) to become fully grown?
Pretty much what the title says.

I've had these Azizians for a while now and I read on the wiki that there's supposed to be an event that triggers called 'Azizians Wisdom', in which they are supposed to 'grow up' and get better traits. Wiki link for the related events here [stellaris.paradoxwikis.com] (obviously contains spoilers). However, as you can read, this page hasn't been updated for a few patches and, as far as I can tell, doesn't contain a time indication when this event is supposed to come up.

Now I can see it having become glitched: they spawned being undesirables, which I quickly changed to slaves, and I also resettled a few of them to another planet once I got some more. I moved them back after a year or 2 when the event still hadn't triggered and I figured they maybe needed to all be on the original world or something. It's been some years since I moved them back, and I'm wondering if I'm just being impatient or if it's not gonna happen anymore. I did not keep track of time since they spawned, but it must be at least 10 years later by now.

Was really hoping to have some very strong, agrarian space slugs to farm my crops and make some armies of. :steamsad:

Most follow up events in the game are chance based. When distar.1082 triggers there is an 80% chance nothing happens and only a 20% chance for a follow up event. Most games you will never see "Azizians Wisdom," or "Azizians on the Loose" if you picked the zoo option.

Soo.... it should have already happened by now if it was gonna happen? And I'm free to genetically modify them without blocking the event because the event isn't gonna happen anymore?

Probably. There's no determined time frame for the event I could see though, so it likely uses some default trigger rate similar to other events.

Interesting. As far as I recall, every time I put them in a zoo they go wild and cause damage, so I stopped choosing that. I put them in the army, but with a max of 3 units ever, it seemed a waste. So I have always let them be slaves for many games, and I never saw them "grow up". I didn't know that was an option. I think that broke.

Like so many other things in the game then....
