Blank Message spam

So, i got a bug, a blank event message keep show up, every day

i searched a bit for solution
i tried to re install game, delete and re install event folder

still don't work

i checked the event ID and its "Utopia.2557"

Edit : after search, i've made a list of potential mod that could cause the problem

Here's a list of possible conflict mod that could cause the error

NSCS 2 Season 4
Universal resource patch
5ethos point
Alternative laser graphic
Ascension Combined (old version, which i suspect to be the responsible for error)

Beautiful universe
Default Empire removed 2.2

try verifying file integrity, the reinstall should have caught anything but sometimes steam is weird.

also, do you have any mods installed?

I did checking files integrity, it didn't do that much

I have mods installed, around 50 i would say enabled, some of them obsolete, but they are not mdos that contain event.

i'd start with disabling the outdated mods, especially if one is a ui mod. they may not directly modify events but they might still cause issues

So, i tried to disable and un install some mods, and a lot of outdated, i deleted the text files too

the message still appear

As far as I understand, this utopia.2557 event is just a way to have another empire send you a diplomatic message (utopia.2558) when you reach the Synthetic Age. It shouldn't appear (hide_window = yes). Perhaps, the issue is with utopia.2558?
Anyways, it's just some fanatical spiritualist rant, and your only option is to acknowledge their Only Truth: you are now all cursed!

I figure that you have both Synthetic Dawn and Utopia installed?
What are the file you have in /localisation/YourLanguage/ starting with 'utopia'?
You could perhaps change the language and see what happens.

Welp, none of these worked, the message still appear

Really wondering what's the problem with the DLC event or the mod that cause problem

you can try narrowing down the mod responsible for the issue by turning half of them off and seeing if it goes away. if not cut the active mods in half again and keep trying, basically cut the half of the mods causing the issue(make sure you keep track of the mods turned off in each step) in half until you narrow down the mod causing it.

hopefully it'll just be one mod causing this and not a conflict of mods causing it.

i took a lot of mod off

more than half

and now it work
