Can't Build Dyson Sphere

I officially cannot build this stupid thing. I followed everything else I could find about it on the forms, removed the mining station orbiting the star, didn't work, dismantled the starhold and rebuilt it, didn't work, made sure I didn't have any mods that would effect the build mechanic, DID NOT WORK!

I seriously have no idea what to even try anymore, I can build the ringworld around this system and the sentry array but the game has a heart attack at the notion of a dyson sphere being in ANY of my systems.

Do you have a ruined dyson sphere.
Does it give any pop up text as to why it won't let you build it.
Do you have any mods running?

No ruined Dyson Sphere in my entire empire.
It doesn't show anything when I try to build it, not even the little ring thing around the star, I just select it from megastructures, hover over the star and nothing happens.
Already said I have no mods that would effect this, but even when I disabled all mods and used cheats to test it I still couldn't build.

Do you have another mega structure OTHER than the sphere or habitation stations being built? you can only have ONE such structure under contstruction at a time (arbitrary limit even even you have enough energy and mineral credits to build a dozen at once.)

If ther is a mining station or a research station on the sun you wont be able to build a dyson sphere either

I don't have a single other MS building right now. Tripple checked just to make sure.

And I already said that I removed the mining station.

If you right-click the star, build megastructure, hover over Dyson sphere doesn't it show a tooltip telling why you can't?

It won't even give me a tooltip for the dyson sphere when i do that.

-Quit out of game in frustration.
-Walk away and go make breakfast.
-Come back and remember I forgot to turn on the beautiful universe mod last time.
-Suddenly gets tooltip for dyson sphere, say remove orbital station when there isn't one.
-Builds and then disbands orbital station, suddenly able to build dyson sphere.

What kind of meth is this game on? I've been playing for a year and never had it do anything like this to me.

We can definitely agree on that. Last time I played fallout 4 I ended up catapulting into the sky box for no apparent reason.
