How to Make More Planetary Stations.
I've selected that void born origin, which starts you off on a planetary station instead of a planet. Is there a way to make another one or am I just stuck hoping for a migration treaty/invasion of another species in order to acquire more land for production.

You build them with your construction ships. They cost 3000 alloys. You place them over planets.

It seems that either they changed how they work or a mod I have has changed them because im settling a new planet with a migrated race and its says it would take 3,000 years and whenever I right click with my starter construction worker, no option to make a planetary station comes up.

Definitely a mod.

iirc you can't build habitats above habitable planets. They're also a megastructure, so you need that tech to build them.

You certainly can build them over habitable planets, and as void dweller you start with the ability to build habitats.

you can only build habitats on major planetary bodies, so no moons, no stars, and no asteroids

Don't forget to remove any (mining) stations in orbit of that planet. They block habitats.
