Stop Robot Production Empire wide
How do you stop production of robots empire wide. The planetary decision cost 25 influence each time and that's a lot of clicking. I tried replacing the robot assembly plants with various buildings. The Sectors with AI control build a new Robot assembly plant the next time a building slot becomes available. There should be a policy or edict. Currently, if you have Materialist trait you cannot outlaw robots. That seems extreme. I understand not outlawing robots if you have the "fanatic materialist" trait.

The most effective way to do what you want is to dismantle your robot assembly plants, but as you experienced that is only going to work if you manage all of your planets yourself. If you use automation then you'll need to use the planetary decision and pay the influence.

You could always reduce the number of roboticist jobs on planet, to better fit your desired assembly rate, or remove the jobs/building altogether.

You may want to avoid sector ai altogether to remove the possibility of these kinds of shenanigans from ever happening

yes, i know that but that'd a different thing than what i was asking. i'm not at home so i can't check and don't automate so i've never looked into stopping robot production
