So i researched amoeba flagella technology and when i wanted to add them to my ships i didn't have them. I checked researched techs and it's not there.

Are you sure you actually researched the ship tech, and not just the +5% evasion permanent modifier?

Edit: In case you do mean the +5% evasion one, that's not a part you add to your ships. It's just a permanent +5% evasion for every ship you have or will ever have.

Did you research it from the situation log or the research tab?
Amoeba flagella is not a tech. It will appear as a modifier on your empire.

Apologies, I was thinking of the Flagellating Movement modifier you get from researching the space amoeba species, rather than the tech Amoeba Breeding Program that you unlock by analyzing the debris after killing amoebas.

The tech Amoeba Breeding Program is a society tech, and it grants the Amoeba Flagella component for use in ship designs. The component goes in a hanger slot (H). The first ship available with a hanger slot is the cruiser, so if you don't have cruisers yet then your ability to use this component will be limited to platforms with a hangar station section, or (automatically) in starbases with a hangar module.

I have this tech in my current game (2.7.2_beta) and it is working just fine.
