Nuetron Star
How do I fight an outpost next to a Nuetron Star. My approach goes through the gravity well and I get stuck... Suppose I could manually move around... Avoid.. Eh think I figured it out. Any better ideas or is that the solution?

Fighting an outpost at a neutron star is done in the same way as fighting an outpost around any star: approach until you are within weapon range and combat will begin.

I assume that isn't the answer you are looking for, because it is fairly obvious, and so I assume that there is more to your question than I am understanding. If so, can you describe what you are trying to accomplish with more detail?

The neutron start doesn't matter. If your ships are getting stuck it's because of the outpost itself. defeat the outpost and your ships can leave.

ftl inhibtors prevent your ships from using any other hyperlane except for the one you came from

either go around or take the starbase like a man

3 wrong answers. But thanks for the effort guys. Nuetrons stars gravity pull you in and you get stuck. I had to go around in passive stance and approach from the other side. Had to use FTL to retreat and return...

There's no gravity in Stellaris. Your ships are approaching the outpost in order to attack it, and if they're taking an oddly long time it's most likely a mod breaking something.
Neutron Stars do nothing of the sort, unless you're using some mod that radically changes the effects of various stars on their respective solar systems. All they do in the vanilla game is cut your ships' sublight movement speed in half.

Wrong game or you're terribly confusing how the game mechanics work. Once researched FTL inhibitors are applied to starbases, preventing enemy fleets from leaving the system before the base is down (or the fleet is dead)

The only thing a Neutron Star does in game is half your Sublight speed (That is the speed you use in a system)

In this game, Neutron stars cut your sublight speed in half.
Pulsars strip your shields.
Blackholes cut your emergency FTL in half
and nebula systems hinder your sensors.
