"The Forbidden" are the most likely to happen since they depend on ppl to develope T3 Drive Techs (and everyone does that sooner or later). The number of races that do so only speeds their coming up.
"The Scourge" has a flat 30ish percent chance of happening.
"AI Uprising" depands on how many races have high lvl AI-Tech (the dangerous ones), and even then, it may not happen at all.
Well, i knew there was a 30% something associated with them
Also (in theory) you can get more then one Endgame crisis in the same game (like Forbidden followed by Scourge). Which can be annoying, since lets face it, the only one realy doing anything about those events are the players... the AI doesn't really put up much of a fight against them.

ah i see, although im new at the game, on Hard mode the Forbidden usually dont stand a chance at me. They had over 200k in fleet power, i went in as a single empire and erradicated them quite fast without any help. Only lost my whole fleet once.
As I did the voight kampff achievment I built 16 synthetic researched the "dangerous" tech but no jump drives and got them in both attempts.
So if i dont develop the Jump drive, Forbidden ones dont appear usually?
If no one has jump drives umbidden dont spawn...
