Wenkwort Custodian: How to Remove?
Is it possible to remove the Wenkwort Custodian planetary mod? Like attacking the custodian fleet orbiting the planet or something?

*I'm on ironman so I don't want to test it until I have something like 10k fleet strength. Googled the issue and it says that a 7k fleet will warp in if you refuse to accept the demands or something

I would very much like to know this as well. I saw this was posted a month ago, did you figure anything out?

When you settle the planet, they'll contact you. I always agree but I assume they'll be hostile if you don't agree with them.

Nope. I agreed the first time and the mod became permanent. Haven't obtained another Wenkwort system in subsequent playthroughs, so I don't know what happens if you refuse.

Do the custodians invade/bombard the colony? Or do they just fly in and park their fleet in the system?

In my game an enemy nation came and destroyed the custodian fleet orbiting the planet and nothing happened, the debuff is still active. So I'm guessing it's just permanent.

Funny thing. In my last game I ended up getting an ally with Wenkwort and they got spanked by the fleet. When our federation fleet got big enough I sent it over and beat them up. Got several techs from the debris.
The debuff doesn't actually stop you from turning Wenkwort into an Arcology, does it?

I remember playing a machine empire when i first posted this question. I wouldn't have minded the Wenkwort modifier if i were playing a regular empire, but it's a hard hit for gestalts. I was especially pissed because it had so many mining districts in that particular playthrough
