Retrovirus
This ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ event changed my whole homeworld population to HORSES. So obviously i had to purge my homeworld from that disgusting creation of that stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥ called The Exile. So the question is how could i regain 50 population fast?

Well if you go for genetic ascension then you can always turn your people back later, but there really isnt too many ways to gain pop fast other than promoting growth decision, and building a gene clinic on the planet in question. But it will still take quite a bit of time

Thx. That damned bustard the exile. Guess he dies rn for his stupid decisions. (also he turned himself into a horse too)

Was The Exile a horse? In my game, The Exile is a human. It may be a glitch.

Presumably that means that the exile was not originally a horse.

Lol I didn't know the Exile would do such a thing, I always thought it's just a free scientist. If he does something like that, I guess next time he will stay exiled :D

I had him as one of my researchers and he started developing this virus. At first I thought that a virus making population "weaker but smarter" sounds cool. Little did I know that ancestors of my cat-like people would be horses not cats. I guess i should have at least checked how The Exile looked after injecting himself with a virus though as mentioned above I thought that retrovirus wouldn't change the looks of my population. Thankfully I was able to send some pops from the colonies to my homeworld. Now i rule third part of the Galaxy along with my federation and The Exile was sent to survey a system that was inhabited by Ether Drake (It's obvious what happened after). Still I don't advise anyone allowing this virus to be fully developed.

This event isn't specific to the Exile btw, he's just the scientist you happened to have researching the event chain that causes this transformation (which just selects a random portrait from the same category as your original portrait; I followed this event chain in one of my first playthroughs and the human Commonwealth of Man got turned into those long-headed blue humanoids).

ha, that's hilarious. Never knew such an event existed.

As for how you can regain 50 population fast... the slave market!

The event chain is the Horizon Signal, in case anyone's curious.
