Every AI is a fanatical purifier
In my past three games in a row now, both before and after Federations, most or all of the AI empires have been fanatical purifiers. Diplomacy is of course severely limited because of this and it's super annoying. Is this just a fluke thing for a few games for me or has anybody else encountered this problem? Do I need to start a game force spawning a variety of empires instead of letting it be "random" (which seems to only equal fanatical purifiers)?

Any thoughts or advice appreciated!

Exterminators would be better, they could create Federations then.

I haven't been seeing a large number of purifier-type empires appearing in my games. I don't think the randomness is the issue. It is possible that you are just having a streak of bad luck; streaks are a natural part of randomness. Another possibility, if you use mods or have edited your game files, is that the weights that are used to distribute the different random possible empires that can appear have been changed. In that case you'd need to find and remove the mod responsible, or in the case of a rogue edit you'd want to delete the file and then verify your game files through Steam to restore the correct version.

I have game when half of AI are corporates. Only had 1 purifier this game, and 3 last game.

Started 2 games, one has no purifiers, the other has two.

Think it might just be random luck mate, or possibly a mod that is throwing you issues.

One of my game has a bunch of robots on it, the other, not so much.
