Playing Stellaris a year ago i had Titans and other massive ships.. Then i come back and.... they're gone!
Aaaaaand its gone! I came back to the game after a years hiatus, and purchased the Federations DLC.... Only to find now i cannot obtain Titans because Titans are now removed from the game and put behind a new DLC paywall aka Apocalypse. And i cannot obtain Juggernoughts that i paid for with Federations DLC, because Titans are a pre-requisite technology to be able to build them in the first place. I also seem unable to build ring worlds.... Am i wrong??? i have came to the end of my tech trees and still no sign of these big ships...

This is either false advertising ( that you get Juggernoughts with the Federations DLC) or i am wrong so tell me how im wrong. Other wise i might take action.

Titans have always been an Apocalypse-specific tech. Perhaps you had a mod which was giving you a similar ship?

As for Juggernaut, it does seem to be a bit of an oversight on their part, that it requires the Titan tech. Perhaps something they'll fix in the next patch.

RingWorld is a Utopia-specific tech, and so the origin will also be Utopia-specific.

Titans were never buildable by the player without mods until apocalypse, which was, by the way, over 2 years ago.
Juggernauts requiring titans must be an oversight and fixed soon.
Ring worlds require utopia and the galactic wonders ascension perk.

The ringworld origin is federation exclusive though.

Yes you are, see above answers.

In his defence, he's not *completely* wrong. He is correct that Juggernauts are indeed locked behind Titans, and therefore behind Apocalypse. I assume that's just a mistake on Paradox's part, and that they'll fix it eventually.

Well thanks for the feedback.. I do already have 5 DLC's. Plantoids, leviathans, Utopia, Federations and Horizon signal. It pains me to buy the DLCs because i dont even have a job right now, money is very precious to me. I am not getting what i was advertised this had better be fixed even if i get Juggernought and not Titans.

When i try and build Tours Orbital Factory, it builds the first part and then the upgrade says it needs Titans technology or something. But it's a mod so i guess i can't complain.

Either way you won't get Titans. Those will always require Apocalypse.

But yeah - you may end up getting Juggernaut. Also possible that it might be something you could mod - perhaps you could remove the prerequisite of having Titans.

patch been live for weeks how. if this is true, how has it not been fixed already?

anyways this is the kind of issue i would contact customer service about.

you guys sure it isn't just behind a ascention perk or w/e if you don't have apocalypse btw? people who have apocalypse would obviously say that it requires titans cause thats how it is for them.

I'm not sure if I would call it a bug. I think that the decision was intentionally made to have Juggernaut require the Titan tech.

I think maybe just whoever made that decision forgot that it would also mean you'd need Apocalypse to be able to use the Juggernauts.

yeah thats why you go straight to customer service instead of the bug/support forums.

put it under the "money" and not a "problem with game" category too since it's a problem with your purchase.

talking directly to customer support people cost pdx more money which incentives them to fix it faster.

(and ofc if you have the balls for it/really care about it, get a refund and then rebuy it when its fixed. then it really costs them money. but that's some real effort to put into something not that important)

You can change the Juggernaut prereq to battleships tech if you're willing to edit the files, as long as you own Federations

Promising idea if it works. But i havent modded a game since Command & Conquer Red Alert rules.ini anything more complicated than that i cant get my head around. Im not a developer or a computer scientist.
