Deep Connections Leader Trait

Deep connections trait os not giving the +1 influence point? Am i wrong or shouldnt a leader with this trait be giving a whole additional influence point? My scientist was just elected and Im not noticing a difference in points. I produce 3 as my base, gain 2.28 from factions and 1.50 from 3 rivals, while only consuming 1 points worth, yet my monthly influence is 5.58. Does it work differently?

It should be giving one whole point.

I haven't had a leader with that trait since 2.6 was released, so I can't say whether it is working correctly now. There could be a bug. Alternatively, if you use any mods, one of them might be responsible.

Also make sure that the end of the month passes by, and then check again, just in case the UI hasn't updated.

I am suppressing a faction and it seems that costs 1 influence. Though even years later the UI still doesnt show that under 'consumed.' Thats probably it
