Syndicate Federation

So with federations, can Criminal Syndicates create/join Federations? I've noticed you're not excluded from Common Ground or Hegemony Origins so it sounds like you'd be able to, but I need a confirmation on this.

I dont think they were ever prevented from being in federations before were they? I never played one but I did have one in a playthrough I did and seem to remember them being in a federation even prior to this dlc but I may be mistaken.

I mean it says "Cannot Join Federations" in the Criminal Syndicate description

Well, the quickest way would be to fire up one of those Origins. It could simply be the tooltip is displaying pre-2.6 with the old federation system. I haven't played a CS for a while, but from an RP perspective a CS hegemon sounds fun.

I mean the origins do allow you to federate and it looks like the traditions have been updated to where you can form federations. I guess syndicates are a-ok for Federizing lol. I wonder if Barbaric despoilers are cleared too?

BD can create hegemonys and military federations. But they can only join other ones if memory serves. Not create them, and as everyone detests you that is unlikely

Ahhhh okay. Well hey at least you can get into federations. I'll take that as opposed to no grand alliances lol

Im going to play BD next actually with the scion start for protection so I'll see first hand how actually feasible it is to end up in a federation

Just went at it and yeah CS and BD can't join federations, they can associate but they've always been able to associate. So... kinda bummed on that. Where's my criminal Syndicate Federation at? XD
