Anyone have a solve for this issue? It is a bit frustrating to see this as a featured optioned prior to purchasing and now finding that it does not work (or doesn't for me, anyway).
I had to make sure the paradox launcher was updated before it would let me log in. That required following an odd set of instructions to uninstall the launcher, then delete the folders and files related to it from my pc. Then having steam reinstall it by trying to launch the game again.
THEN when saving, even if you have could saves enabled in the settings, under your save file's name there's a little check box. If you select it, the game will save THAT save file to the cloud. But it WON'T store it locally if you do that. Meaning that if you're offline, that save won't be available.
So to get this to work, I have a local (unchecked box) save, and a cloud save.
This is a monstrously bad way to handle cloud saves.
Why didn't they just use the Steam Cloud save system like every other game on the platform?
