Yea the fleet is too powerful compared to the time you get it. You can annex everything to your master.

There seems to be bug about closing borders as a vassal, can't close them even if master closed them towards target.

I resisted the urge to conquer everyone, been just making friends and expanding. The fleet given and the master will prevent others from attacking.

Meanwhile, here I am 30 years into the game and they haven't given me a single thing.... jerks

I think they only give you things when you're too weak. Also the Stellaris gamer ASpec made a YT video about the Scion origin a few hours ago

It is stupidly RNG, thats what it is.

My xenophile happy happy pacifist try got 4 ships after 5 years.
I could keep one (3000 battlepower) without going bankrupt.
I stoped that session later, i just tested a little.

Now i am Scion again with a warlike species... surrounded by space monsters and hostile neigbours... im the year34 my masters showed up !!!
In their godly grace they gave me.... YES !
5.000 consumer good and told me not to squander it.

♥♥♥♥... you... all... y.y

Its not OP, its gambling sadly and the chances you will ever get the fitting combination out of gift, species and situation is not very high.

Now excuse me, i will stuff 5.000 consumer goods in the faces of my ascetic warriorfolk while its die a glorious death.

i read if you loose a war they will jump in and help you, its like playing on easy mode. Yet still not stronger than breaking the game as a hegemony lol.

It is not all RNG, you get stuff depending on situations you are in. So if you are losing a war, they have a higher chance of sending you fleets. Same goes for when you are pathetic in fleet power compaired to the rest of the galaxy. So i advice everyone to just not build ships at the start of the game when you are playing scion. Wait till the give you ships and then start to build your own.

Not true, I just got out of a game, Scion, 200 years in, only been given 1 leader in total, no fleets, no alloys, lost multiple wars, literal sandbag of the galaxy, haven't had a single bit of aid from the fallen empire. I can't see a world where its not RNG since my friend in the same game got over 10k of fleets in the 1st 50 years, multiple alloy donations, and 4 leaders to become a dominant power.

In short, the FE can help you if you are losing a war. Same goes as getting a temporary fleet, that you can get if you are the lowest fleet power in the galaxy.
