Weird buildings

So, since the beginning of 2.2 I have had these weird bugged buildings on my planets. Most are from old versions and events, like mutant landfill and obelisk of something. I have tried disabling all my mods but this persists, indicating its something from the vanilla game itself.

I have read some posts that people encountered this problem but never a solution, but I hope any of you can help! Thanks

Did you disable mods, verified files, and started a new game?

Start a new game? 2.2 changes were massive, it's okay that older saves don't load correctly (especially modded one).

I started a new game ofc.
Seems you didnt read properly, I said I disabled my mods but nothing. I verified the files too

Looking better at your "partial" screenshot I can see it appears to be a new game.
I read that you disabled the mods, but I meant ALL of that together, and since you'd only specified that you had disabled the mods...

Have you looked at your workshop folder for leftover mod files?

Sorry if you needed a bigger one. I just put what needed to be shown, which were these odd buildings. And yes, everything was disable, removed, etc

Good news everybody! After investigating some posts I decided to install the game again in another folder and replace my old building and deposit files with these fresh ones. While doing that I noticed some folders that were outdated that somehow weren't removed after updating to newer versions.

Long story short, I delete my old Stellaris folder and started using the freshly installed one and now it works as intended! No odd buildings in my planets.

Try deleting the entire stellaris folder manually, do not rely on steam to do so, and then verify the cache. That should remove any trace of previous versions and narrow it down if the problem persists.

It looks to me like duplicate core files from two versions of the game.

And then you went and ninja'd me, heh, well at least you found the issue (which was exactly what I suspected it to be).
