That was pretty funny.
I had to edge around the system to plink their stations, making sure my ships wouldn't share the same fate.
Then there was the time the Prethoryn spawned. They spawned on one end of the map, took one planet, and then flew through 5 territories (including mine) to take over the planets of a Fallen empire right next to me.
I spent the next 5 years intercepting their troop carriers and colony ships so that they couldn't take over the Fallen Empire worlds (it kept spawning a 18 k fleet which would take out a 28 k prethoryn fleet and then get destroyed, doing a good job keeping them down) I didn't have the power to fight one of those face to face, but killing the smaller transports made stalling them possible. Felt like whack a mole.
This one time I spent like 5 hours in an enormous war in a War in heaven - we win, a pop-up appears telling everyone they'd be rewarded according to contribution and I got... Nothing. I personally took and held like 80 % of the warscore in planets and killed the enemy titan.
Turns out I had glitched the game out because I had invited the Awakened Empire into my Federation before the war triggered - I didn't ask to become a satellite because I thought we were already allied - only satellites get booty. Whoops.
I was playing my science spiders, and had a observation post around a primitive civilization observing them
Later, I get a pop up notice that one of my scientists decided to go to the planet, proclaim himself a god, and have a pyramid built in his honor and be worshiped by the natives...
I had it put in the history books.
That man is a hero in my empire xD
Pretty funny, debug string saying "empty" made me stare on it for couple secs (screenshot on my profile).
ah see my science spiders are strictly professional, we reprimanded him and removed all evidence of what he had done =P
"Just a prank bro" and such xP
such unprofessional behavior from a scientist! it's scandalous. You, sir/ma'am, are a shame to all research-savvy species out there!
=P that would, at least, be my spiders' response to such a thing
I guess what happened there was just kind of stylish xD
this is a mind boggling concept and my spiders will have to consider the implications thoroughly o.o
