If you intend to buy keys/product code/activation code for Stellaris anytime soon do not. I bought 2 already and were deleted from my Steam library because of some issues with it. Do not buy keys anytime soon for this game!

Buying keys from third party keyseller sites is always a risk. Some sites are reputable, others less so.

Where did you buy your keys from?
Stormsong Apr 4, 2019 @ 10:07am
Uh... yeah, duh? Lol wtf. I refuse to believe there are still people who think this is a risk-free proposition. At best, you're trading one set of negatives for another.

G__2____A Never will again. I did get my money back both times but after this... no thanks

Sorry but if I write it together its just blurred out as swearing word

Indeed it is.

I never understood why in the fekeng hell couldnt they make some fekeng kind of key recognition program for steam. Wtf why would you give keys out without any way to check them if they arent reliable...

Oof and to make matters worse, you went with the worst of the lot. Other sites? A gamble, perhaps. That one? Stolen, no "perhaps" involved.

Well, seems like you learned. So, there's a positive in all this.

I mean I never really was for this but since I dont really want to spend so much money for games that I wont play a lot since im not at home even more than a week per 2 months I just go with cheap s**t.

But ofcourse with that I support theft and every idiotism I could. I still did it but since this happened I wont anymore. Not just because I dont trust them but because simply I dont want to support them and I never really liked them to honest. I guess I needed something like that to really decide for whats right.

I'm glad. Stuff from G2A isn't always bad or stolen, but that is a risk when dealing with that site, so it's generally better to just avoid it altogether. If you want to find deals for games, I would recommend https://isthereanydeal.com
As far as I know, all of the stores they link to are legitimate third party sellers and it's convenient for finding the best price online.

stick to sites that have a really good trustpilot review or really well known to be good.
humblebundle, greenmangaming, fanatical, razer game store, and cdkeys . com (not the other one)
i think i bought dlc for this game alone from 4 of those sites. :)

i've even had problems with amazon... but that was just a really inconvenient almost 48 hour delay buying a cd key... all the sites i've listed are instant delivery and never had a problem with them.

No issues here. I bought one for a friend at $8 a few weeks ago and we still play each night.

you have G2 A shield also i think they are not allow to remove a product you bought legal.
If you are resident in EU within the netherlands borders you can contact ConsuWijzer and you can go to the police for theft by steam.
which they can by fine by law.

other country's in EU have likely similar laws.
