Gift Systems in 2.2.*
Hi guys,

I am a returning player and so far I love the changes made to the economy.
However some things are quite different than before.

For one I have no idea how I can giv a planetary system to an AI, is this not possible anymore?

Before, even as an athoiratiran empire I could liberate planets, now it seems I can only claim them or go to war for humiliation, is that so? Is it not possible anymore to liberate planets to create allies with the same ethics?

I have been looking for mods that add that back in but couldn't find any.

So is there a mechanic I haven't seen is it possible to do these things still?

Can someone point me to a mod that works with 2.2.4 or 2.2.3 that adds these mechanics back in?

Thanks!

for gifting systems: you need to be neighbours with the empire you want to give systems to.

for liberation: you need to set your war philosophy to liberation

To add on: the system you want to give to the AI has to be neighboured

Thanks very much, with so much new stuff it was hard to figure out.

Does this still happen in the trade view though? As I have a neighbouring AI and when I open the trade menu, I don't get the option to trade systems.

yeah its through the trade tab. you need to make sure the system you give is connected through hyperlane of the empire you want to give the system to
