Forcing the crisis to spawn
So my friend and I have been playing this multiplayer galaxy together since about the middle of May and we are finally at the point where the end game crisis should appear. The problem is that since I gifted my friend Stellaris this was our first playthrough and so suspect that we may have turned off end game crises at the start of the game. Since it's already late in the game and it hasn't appeared yet I was wondering if anyone knew how to force the crisis to spawn. I know how to edit save files so if we have to do that that can be an option. Another is to use the console to force it to spawn but does anyone know how to use the console in multiplayer? thanks for reading this till the end as i recognize how frickn long this request is but any help will be greatly appreciated.

I don't think you can use the console in multiplayer. Considering the 'GM Powers' seen in the YouTuber War series I do think having a GM position would be a good idea.

A Crisis usually spawns around 50 years after the End Game start date (default 2400). I believe it's possible for a Crisis to never spawn even with them turned on, though it's unlikely.

Oh thanks we may have actually turned it on then as for some reason I had thought we were way later than it should come as my crises in singleplayer tend to come around 2400.

Not sure if it works with already existing save games around 2400 but maybe these might help
