Can you even control anything at that speed?
probably likes to give commands when on pause, and then wants to make it go faster then fastest in between. googled speed hack and i think it does the exact same thing as a console command involving gameticks (that may be removed now).
but honestly i predict one of two outcomes:
-you just run into the same performance bottleneck you normally do
-it works but you get weird side effects and stuff gets more and more out of whack over time.
I think you're better off overclocking your PC...
If you have a decent CPU, the 600 star maps work ok...I run them with 8 opponents and I will only get a mild slow down. Fast is basically the same as fastest, but I play that speed anyway later on...too much stuff to manage to run any faster.
two ways you can do it.
going from normal>fast>fastest in game means you try to calculate game ticks faster.
but you can also try to do more each tick, e.g. calculate 2 days at once instead of just 1. which if you use some approximations and tricks could easily result in a faster running game. but since the game isn't designed for that it'll likely come with some side effects.
