Claiming systems my vassal has?
I recently took an empire as a vassal and they have 3 strategic resources close to my borders that I want for myself. How do I go about claiming those systems for myself? Do I have to declare war on them or something?

Ah ok thanks. So what will happen to their empire space? Will it just be absorbed into mine?

You can't take just a couple systems from your vassals, you either use the integrate vassal and absorb all their territory after like 10 years or something, or you just deal with it.

You absorb the entire empire. But can create a new vassal, that has your ethics, out of any systems you don't want to keep
