Add Planetary Features
I usually like to tweak nearby starting systems by using the planet_class command, however with 2.2, when I do that and click on "planetary features" nothing is listed on the tweaked worlds. Does anybody know if there is a console command to add planetary features like "rugged woods" "ore-veined cliffs" etc that add districts and such?

I have the exact same question... No point in creating a new thread to ask the same thing... When you change a celestial body into a planet, it has no districts, because there are no planetary features... has anyone discovered a way to "populate" a planet with features?

I figured it out - for those who are curious, you can "re-roll" the planetary features with this command:

effect reset_planet=yes

This command seems tol re-roll features based on the planet type and size... so if you change an asteroid into a size 60 gaia world, and then use that command... you're gonna get a whole lot of resources.

I hate to necro, but whenever I try this it just gives me generator districts. I'm trying to get variety.

came across your dicussion while looking for an answer, found another way besides reshuffling for people in the future

effect add_deposit = and effect remove_deposit = will do individual ones
