Only benefits are criminal jobs the buildings in the branch office give, but you don't really want more crime in your colonies.
Build a penal colony which will also help with crime problems.
But anyways just build police stations, and look for a governeror with anti crime traits. Also keep happiness up.
Having tried it in SP, you hardly ever get the credits you invested to even build the place back.
crime corp puts thing on your world, it has basically 3 effects.
-1 good for you.
-1 good for them (usually favoring them in ratio to how good it is for them opposed to you).
-and skyrockets crime on your planet[s].
However if you build enough enforcer pops you can counter them and close their offices, OR just keep your pops happy [Hard to do BUT possible] and live in harmony with the crime lords.
Their not trash, they just require you to play diplomatically af, Unless you absolutely CANT then you just go to war, for subjigation, (which is a cassus belli you get if they refuse being your subsidiary.) and then just take them over that way, at which point, loyalty is REALLY their only option.
also protip for ALL corperate empires.
DO NOT expand unless you have to, 50 percent penalty to your research, hurts ALOT.
also dont buy the reliquaries or play the slots from the caravaneers, its a scam and a distraction designed to get you to waste your funds to weaken you, and really pay attention to your own resources BEFORE buying ANYTHING they offer you.
