I would think higher trade value wins.
(there is also a button to remove your bid, dont hit this by mistake)
I wasnt sure how the game decided so I also just stacked every bonus/edict/desicion/caravaner bonus onto it that i could
So if you don't have a lot of influence and energy to spend on improving your bid, you should generally submit your application on your capital, since galactic market formation tends to happen too early in a game's lifetime to really push another colony as your trade hub.
in 2 of 3 games i didn't even get the event that is required to use the 'Galactic Market Hub Nomination'-decision.As such, i never even knew of the market until it was founded by another civilisation.
In the 3rd game i just used tons of cheats to give make sure that
1)my home system had more than twice the tradevalue of any other system
and
2)i am the first to contact more than 50% of all civs on the map
Eventually the event that activates the decision popped up and i activated it.The result:
the market got founded by an ai civ on a planet with with less than half of my trade value and to top it of when i open the market it says 'The Galactic Market has been founded, but we do not have access yet.'
Conclusion:
The whole galactic market mechanics are broken af
This just sounds like you keep playing empires that don't get access to galactic trade.
Ohh i can *USE* the market.
I even used a lot in the first 2 games.I just could not become the leader
In the third game where i did not have access i played a fantic materialistic militaristic civ, which *should* be able to use the market.(also:if i can use it,why would i be able to nominate my world?!?)
I supported my bid and got the market.
I need to ask how? In all the quick attempts at console commanding ahead to see if i can get it in several games to play with it no luck.
I am at the same point where ive console commanded the fk out of my empire and supported the bid for the market and went around and made sure any competitors didnt have bids and even controlled the one who wins who didn't even have a bid and they still somehow fking miraculously get it. I'm going to attempt killing them real quick before it wins it this time to see if that works but this is beyond ridiculous.
-Edit: Console commanding the winner off before they get it gave it to me but this is still too much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ i think.
