You don't have tiles anymore, so pop is assigned by -/+ for individual jobs.

This. Be wary of trying to push a cushy noble into actually doing some manual labor though. It takes years to demote.

double click on the class and you can reorder priority.

You can change the priority in job applications by moving the whole line (under Pop tab) up or down. That's one of the means to make preferences in colony production now.

That said if you play with more than one specie (I started 2.2 with syncretic evolution) then you get to see even more how your traits and choices affect job application. btw it works very fine with SE. I think the civics is even more tailored to 2.2 that it was before.
