Window constantly popping up (Solved)
Whenever I start a new game and unpause it, a window with no description pops up in the middle of the screen.
I need to click like 5 times to get rid of it and after 1-2 seconds it pops up again.

Am I the only one having this Issue?

Solution:

So, I found the solution for me. It might not work for everybody, but I give you the steps that made it work for me.

There were a few issues apparently.

I deleted the game via steam, then searched for "stellaris" in the explorer on the "This PC" section.
I deleted everything related to the game (Be careful not to delete something for another program. For example I had a music track for Cities: Skylines that had "Stellaris" in it.)
It seems that some files are resistant to the verifying files option of steam, so you have to delete the leftovers yourself.

I redownloaded it, then I couldn´t install it because my Ransomware blocked some .txt file that Stellaris wanted to change (might have been the problem the first time).
So I made an exception for Stellaris, and voila I can finally install it again and this time play without blank messages.

Now my Checksum is perfectly fine (Can be seen when starting a new game, when hovering over the achievement message, in the AI, etc. screen)

Hope this helps you guys and fixes your problem too :)

Have you validated your files and disabled all mods.

Make sure you have no mods selected in your game launcher. Sometimes out of date mods cause this, if that does not help try verifying game cache: https://inxile.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004662908-Verify-game-cache-files-Steam-

I already did that, but it didn´t help.
It was also weird because after I did that it still told me that my checksum is modified.

I even deleted Users Cache in the "starting window" of stellaris.

I will try it again though, and maybe it works the next time.
I might also give my computer a restart, that sometimes helps wonders ^^

I have exactly the same problem. Launched the updated game with no mods, encountered the same bug, switched off the game, ran the game cache verification, reloaded the game and still have the same bug. It is something wrong with the ships and platforms. Running game time without pause on event shows that every day that passes generates a blank message for each ship/fleet/platform you have (as each notification pings your ships and platforms). Even on a fresh game this is a large number of messages. The game is playable if you don't object to a constant growth of alert messages stretching across the screen and the constant pinging of these assets (i.e. not really playable). I would reinstall but ., I am not confident this would solve the problem and, 2., I have terrible wi-fi and before I commit to a 24 hour download, I would love to know if there is another solution.

Tried it again, and it didn´t help.

The checksum is still modified so I guess some mod can´t be unsubscribed.

I´ll delete everything related to Stellaris from my pc and try reinstalling it afterwards.

I might get the game back and running today.
If so I´ll tell you what happened.
Wish me luck ^^

I did the about the same, uninstalled Stellaris than cleared out the Stellaris folders under Mydocuments\paradoxinteractive\Stellaris and .....\Steam\steamapps\common\Stellaris and it seems to be working

Yep. Did the same and it appears to be working. I wonder whether it is an issue with Stellaris' workshop functionality or not an issue at all.
