Restricted system issue.
I set a maurader system as restricted but somebody else wiped them out of the system. That system was in a nebula and now it is impossible for me to un-restrict it as I have no intel on said system. Does anybody know a fix, this is cutting me off from half the galaxy!

Edit: The only thing I can come up with for fixing it is using the intel cheat, but that does a bunch of stuff I don't want as I that would get me in contact with every empire, enclave, and space monster instantly.

Does that work on nebulas

yes, a fully build sentry array can see EVERYTHING, including the L-sector when the gates are opened.

Though, you should be able to still go into the system if you managed to put it on offlimits.
You just can't see anything beyond crude outlines of planets/asteroids. :\

I never realized restricting requires view.

um...send something next to it so you have visibillity?
it is a nebula, so I can't send anything, as the system is already restricted.

Yeah it does require a in-system view.

You need to have intel to toggel between restricting and un-restricting, but i can't have intel because it is in a nebula. What is worse is that it is a critical juntion system for me.

That looks pretty messed up.

Paradox's customer support is pretty terrible, don't expect it to be fixed soon.

id try getting share vision treaty with some neighbor.

experimental navigation might also work to let you approach from the other side if you have a friendly empire to jump too.

and if all else fails im sure there is also some console command to fix it, or a mod to create a hyperlane to bypass it.

There IS a mod to crate/remove hyperlanes but it requires a megastructure on both sides of the lane to be created/removed. Though it seems weird that you can't manually send a ship there even if it has been blocked.
