Absolute beginner resigns in tutorial

Order: Building a Research Station
Location: Construction Ship
Cost: 100 Minerals, 1 Energy (both available)

I do a left click at the construction ship, do a left click on "research ship" which turns from blue to yellow colour and is highlighted.
From this moment i am watching the screen. Time passes by, game start was at 2200.01.01,
now its 2200.08.20 and nothing never ever happens.
My record is waiting 5 game years, ressources exploding, but no research ship.
This is my 5th and last try, never had such thing before in any game.

Are you trying to build a research ship or station? IF The former then select your space station and go to shipyard, IF The later then select The construction ship and right click on The location where you need to build The station

Building research stations is construction ship activity. Build on objects like planet with researched bonuses. Nothing to do with research ship, Read instructions more carefully it is in there.

My question is:
Why does the building not start? Must i do a doube-click or do i have to confirm the building order anywhere?
I am pretty sure its a very primitive mistake by me, but i don't see the wood for the trees.

just select your construction ship, right click the stellar body you want to exploit the resources of and click the mine or research option depending on what is there

You have to build them in a planet with research deposites.
Alternatively, and alot simpler, right click planets with a deposit.

Also: research ship =\= research station.
A research ship is built at the shipyard base, not by another ship.

You also need to have the system fully surveyed by your science ship and have your construction ship build an outpost in the system before you can build any research/mining stations. Your starting system comes already set up for you.

As a newbie i simply confused the "Research Ship" and the "Research Station".

Another note, if the name of a star system is grey, it is not fully surveyed. The name will turn white when done, letting you know it is ripe for building a starbase.
