Maruader border events

I'm aware that events can happen when bordering marauders, but will they only happen once. Its been 70 years and I only got one event from them.

Are the events rare cause I never seem to get them. This is the first that I've ever had a maraude empire bordering me so I'm confused on how those events work

Ehhh, not necessarily? On average I seem to get 3-5 border events before it comes time for the Khan or I kill their civilization in the crib.

RNG. I killed my marauders at ~2340 (1.5x more expensive techs) and before it get only 2 events. Both of them ... well I'm FP ;)

I know. I said RNG to start with. OP asked more questions, I gave more details.
