Enigmatic Cache Uplift bug

Second game in a row the cache has come to uplift/acend me but in the situation log it can't be researched. Says it requires 1 science ship in orbit but I had that and more and still couldn't click the button. Anybody else see this?

I had to move my science ship and reenter orbit

same here, it doesnt work.

tried different ships with 12 different species (kinda everyone is living on my planets ._. )
go away, enter again, nothing.

Not sure whether this is still an issue, but here's how I solved this:

- Let your science ship leave the system
- Send it back to the planet with the enigmatic cashe - SEND IT AS ENTER ORBIT
- Now you should be able to research the project
