Nothing happened with the L-Cluster?

I am the first to open the first L-gate. According to the wiki, one of four things should happen: A fleet invading everyone, an empire that opens access with some limitations, several L-Drakes that can be tamed, or gain a contact named Gray. I got none of those. I entered, I surveyed, there are a bunch of strategic Gray resources but that is it.

It is also one of the l-gate outcome. There are nothing except for the resource, btw in the patch notes, paradox add explanation that why the system empty do you get that pop up? I get this "no event" l-gates way back before its patchhed so no pop up back then.

It is not unlikely, but unless AI would prioritize researching L-gate insight technology, the chance that an AI opened the gates before me is very slim.

I did not see another AI in there and I never saw any of their science ships either so that shouldn't be what happened.

there is a 40% chance nothing happens. the other main option is the tempest fleets come pouring out all of the gates. so you got the option where there is nothing. wasting research on l gates is worthless.

The last time I opened the L-gates, it was empty...

yet somehow one of the AI empires managed to get themselves a tamed L-drake.
I never even met those things! EVER!! :\

I think you should be glad when the L-cluster opens up and you get nothing.
In my last game I had to defeat 3 empires to get to an L-gate and by the time I managed that had only found 2 pieces of the puzzle. meaning spending 100+ months of research to get the rest.
Decided to post pone that and at some point the AI managed to open the L-gate, resulting in multiple waves of nanite fleets entering the galaxy. I eventually managed to defeat all fleets and capture the entire cluster using two fleets in a pincer movement. But since the AI did nothing but keeping a fleet stationed in their L-gateway, I was the one suffering the most.





And also the one reaping the benefits, as that cluster became mine. :D

Did you also forget to buy the insight from curator every 10 years for 5000 energy?
