The 'leviathan DNA' event

So I recall an event in which your science ship finds DNA of an extinct space critter in an asteroid. I had the options of 'study it' for some Society points, leaving it alone for some influence or 'save samples for later cloning' for less Society points.

Unlike In Limbo, where you will get another pop up later once you develop Droids, I never got another pop up for this one even after getting Gene Modding.

Do you need a later level tech for this? Or is there no follow up?

You need the "Cloning" Tech. If I recall correctly, that's a Rare tech in the Society Tree.

EDIT: Also, I think it's the final tier of the "+10% Population Growth" techs before you hit Repeatables. So researching those techs will get you Cloning eventually.

Ahhh. So what's the outcome?

I only got the event once, and I think I chose to keep them in a lab. It turned into Jurassic Park on one of my worlds.

(Wasn't too bad. Just added the "Dangerous Wildlife" modifier.)

Obviously, I wasn't able to check out the other options (I think there's three, not counting the "get rid of it" option.)

Can you recall the actual event name? Might be able to find it on the wiki.

I might be late to the party - but you get flagged as the owner of the DNA if you don't have the cloning tech. Does the Event reappear if you get the tech?
