Stellaris - Display - Dell S2716DG Monitors (FIX BLURRING/GHOSTING EFFECT!)
This issue was bugging me for a long time: in the GALAXY & System map views, while moving around (using the keyboard or mouse), I would notice star systems (the bright sun dot) and/or name of said star system would have this ghosting/blurring effect that was just damn right annoying and breaking the immersion I've long sought to have in this game. Well, I finally figured it out:

- Turned off G-Sync (nVidia control panel setting)
- Monitor Technology (nVidia control panel setting) >>> Run monitor in FIX mode
- Preferred Refresh Rate Settings (nVidia) >>> Let application decide

*****IMPORTANT!***** Now, once you do that, I was still having the ghosting issue, until I did this next part:

- The Dell S2716DG monitor has a setting, under DISPLAY >>> Response Time (SET THIS TO NORMAL!!!!! DO NOT SET IT TO "FAST")

Poof! Problem solved. No more star/text ghosting/blurring effect on the galaxy map!!! OMG FINALLY!!!! This is why I sometimes hate technology advancements.... g-sync, monitor fast response time settings, vertical sync, etc......the industry has become so SATURATED in our efforts to have a polished, smooth, beautiful looking game, and yet time and time again it seems like for every issue fixed, we create two more. FFS ....I cannot express how FRUSTRATING it was seeing that ghosting issue on the galaxy map!!!

For all gamers out there that were suffering this similar issue, I hope this post helps you! And, BTW, this has helped fix THIS EXACT issue in some of my other strategy games. Give it a try!

((Damn you nVidia for selling us on G-Sync .....it is NOT what you pushed to claim it to be!))
