Interesting star names
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1293022544

I found this star whilst having about 5 science ships on auto explore. This joke is a bit dated isnt it? But I think it is funny how they put specific star names in there as a joke. I've also found stars called Lando and Trapist. What are some cool star names you have found?

i think they added that system name in the first patch after it became a thing. it's from an infamous Donald Trump twitter message. google "covfefe" if you want to learn more. it became some sort of running gag all over the internet, but it's mostly an american thing. you don't really have to understand that as a european. think of it as some sort of (lame) inside joke.

some interesting system names that i've found in my games: alderaan (star wars reference), arrakis (dune), cknoor (internet name of some guy on the paradox team, i think he's some sort of PR dude), manward (after martin anward, aka "wiz", the lead designer of the game), kerbal (kerbal space program :) ).

i've also had to chuckle when i saw the asteroids with the name "1337" (leetspeak for "leet". old stuff. don't know if kids nowadays even konw what that was) and the asteroids "AT-AT", "AT-ST", "R2-D2" and "C-3PO" (all star wars).

also, the space pirate ships usually have amusing names.
