Synthetic Leadership?
I have researched AI and synthetics, I have robots, and "full rights" granted, (also trying to avoid AI rebellion here)

Except I cant seem to see any synths as leaders, or find a way to build them?

Have you built any synth pop yet?
Shad Mar 26, 2018 @ 1:16pm
You need another tech for synth leaders on top of having synths. "Synthetic personality matrix", I think.

I've researched that, too. All I see are robots. ^^;

You only see robots in the leader recruitment?

You can't actually build synths?

I could be looking in the wrong spot...? ^^;

I haven't used synths in a very long time but according to the wiki you can only ever build the highest possible tier so you should only be able to build synths. And you probably need one synth build before they can appear in the leaders, I think it's the same for every "species" in that you need at least one pop of it before you can get leaders.

Found in the species tab. It looks like I can mod them too.

Do you know if adding loyalty circuits affects the AI rebellion crisis at all?

No.

As long as they have full AI rights, they won't rebel, however the Contingency Crisis will always be able to occur should Synthetic Dawn is on your game and there are AI pops in the galaxy.

I believe I have all the DLC.

If my pops have all their rights and full citizens, share the same ethics, etc, will they still be turned by another AI rebellion?

Because that'd be dumb, which means I expect that's the case.

They just need full AI Rights and you won't trigger the AI Rebellion. You don't have to worry about ethics or happiness, just the AI Rights.

Other Empire's AI Rebellions won't affect YOUR robots, it'll just cause a Machine Empire to spawn and attack their oppressors. Its actually good, considering it can cripple a rival empire, but might leave a stronger, but far smaller one in its wake.

Howwwwwwwwever, since Synths are affected by happiness, can still cause unrest which if it gets too high in a planet, can cause a revolt/rebellion. NOT the same as a normal one, as its only planet-contained and it can be prevented by making them happier.

Also, the Contingency can still be activated and as such, can cause your synth pops some damage, even losing some.

I pay a lot of attention to happines, I have edicts, buildings, and traditions that increase even my most unhappy factions up to a good 50%. Most of my pops are at like 85% or happier.

As long as my synths don't turn on me. I mean, if I treat them well and give them every right, etc, why in the world would an alien synth be able to convince them "hey they think they're masters and they're trash, lets kill them!" I dont think they'd agree with that lol.

Nah, you should be safe from AI Rebellions. The flag isn't triggered if AI Rights are set to Full, so you'll never have the gateway events for the Rebellion.

The Contingency is an AI Hive Mind with the intent of destroying all life in order to halt an end of the universe scenario.
They'll send out a "Ghost Signal" that will cause all robot pops to reduce in efficiency greatly, as well as sentient combat computers taking a massive hit in fire reduction.
You won't get full on rebellions, but you can get pops to vanish.
