Enemy won't know what hit them.
Maybe make it 20k energy to fire on all their planets simultaneously.
prepare for a bunch of fighters blowing it up :P
I have to say though it's fun. I had an FE attack me while I was putting down the endgame crisis (prethyorn) and as a punishment for their crimes of possibly dooming the Galaxy by distracting me I blew up their holy worlds. Teach those hippies to mess with ascended synths.
It's only for machine empires, which is lame, because synthetically ascended empires deserve to have that weapon too.
But I do enjoy the colosus because it gives the total war casus beli (might be called something else) But it lets you declare war on a rival and keep everything you take without making claims just like purifiers or the devouering swarms.
That alone is enough to make me at least consider using the colosus almost every game.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I never ever fire my colosus at enemy planets under any circumstances. Conquer first, then fire.
It should be instant fire, BUT for balance its recharge time should take the same amount of time as the charge up and firing process currently does. That way it is a threat to take seriously but not so over powered to break the game.
