Prethoryn Scourge won't end.

I got the prethoryn scourge as my endgame crisis and I have destroyed all of their ships and fleets but it won't give me a pop-up telling me that I defeated them and the background noise is still there. Why is this?

You have to clear out systems and planets too. Also are you sure you got all the fleets?

Yeah I have a sentry array so I can see that there are none left.

Might just be a bug. Do they show up in the diplomacy menu? I'm assuming you didn't get the event that says it ended either right?

Yeah I didn't get the event saying that I won even though I destroyed all of their worlds and fleets and it keeps spawning in new fleets even though I should have won.

Where do the fleets spawn from? Maybe check out that system.

They spawn at one system at the edge of the galaxy and I basically have permanently stationed 2 fleets with a combined power of 600k to destroy the fleets whenever they spawn but it just won't end.

hmmm,, then that is deffinetly a bug if they have nothing there to spawn the ships.

This has got to be a bug. I don't know if there are console commands that will help or if you're playing on ironman or not but I'd look for artificial ways of fixing this.

Yeah I might as well start a new game because I already have control over practically all of the galaxy and I did beat them.

Try blowing up the planet they took as there "capital" at the begining I have read somewhere some people have used that to end it as they got a bug that wouldnt let them invade or bombard a planet, not the same thing but maybe it will help idk for sure, good luck

I am having the same issue....first game I ever got close to winning, finally beaten back the scourge, took longer then the 2500 ingame years tho...I pacified the planets but colony ships of the scourge keep spawning there.

Game continues to keep running, my alliance and I defeated all enemies, took back all the stations and planets occupied by the scourge.
